Software Europe Partners With emTax To Tackle Employee Tax Compliance
Organisations facing the challenge of understanding and adhering to HMRC rules will benefit from a new partnership between Software Europe and employment compliance and tax advisors, emTax.
Following HMRC’s restructuring plans in July 2013, organisations have become increasingly vulnerable to more stringent HMRC audits on their employment tax compliance – for example in high risk areas such as IR35 contractor checks, expenses and benefits payments, PAYE and NI contributions etc. Already half way through its restructuring programme, one of HMRC’s main priorities from the 2014 Budget is to double compliance yields and raise £24.5 billion by 2014-15 and £26.3 billion in 2015-16.
